VAC - E36 Differential Support Bracket (DSB) AA-DSB-E36 Chassis Type: E36 (not ti) This VAC Differential Support Bracket is a bolt on kit designed to solve the problem of the front differential bolt breaking under harsh driving conditions. Ask racers and high performance street users, they will tell you: the first thing that breaks under acceleration from a stop and high power use is the front diff bolt. This kit is made from tough, powder coated steel and also includes a replacement front diff bolt. Installation instructions are included in the kit and no special tools are required. This vulnerable differential bolt can fail very quickly under high performance driving use, especially with bolt-on or more power mods. If you’re lucky, the bent or broken bolt is able to be removed when damaged. If you’re not lucky: the entire diff needs to be REMOVED AND REPLACED to extract the broken bolt! Ouch... This support can be installed by the handy enthusiast or pro in about an hour, and fixes this problem premaritally.
